March Letter

Written by David Marshall  |  Found in: Main Articles

Hello and warm greetings - well, perhaps not exactly warm; it's still quite chilly here on the Cape!  This is a refreshing change for Mary, however, since she has been on the mission field in Sierra Leone for two months.  Mary and I (David) are staying at Dad's townhouse for the weekend busying ourselves with continued cleanup and organization. (Peter gets to stay in sunny Texas with his family.)  There's a lot to do!   We have moved the ministry office and Mary has been consolidating files and records.  It's unbelievable, but it seems our father personally responded to every letter he received!  There is even correspondence back to the 1970's.  I think he was truly grateful and felt blessed to have a connection with a network of believers and like-minded Americans.

The office has received numerous emails concerning the future of Dad's ministry.  We haven't written since the holidays so now is a good time to let you know that our progress has been slow, but steady. We are unable to market new materials until we locate the rights and have a proper understanding of the various contractual agreements already in place. Due process in probate court in the state of Massachusetts can take up to a year, so although our goals and aspirations have taken shape they cannot be fully realized until we are allowed to legally take matters into our own hands.  Although we have exciting ideas for the future of Peter Marshall Ministries, they are in limbo.

Thank you for your patience as we get our bearings and walk through the process.  This presents a new set of challenges for us to contend with and also presents a significant learning curve, but we are excited and optimistic about the future.  We hope you'll be there with us; we invite you to continue checking in with us and we will continue to keep you apprised as we move forward.  God bless you.

Sincerely,

Mary, Peter, and David
